A&I is a new dance and multimedia live production between five performers and a solitary AI interface (Luna) that uses smart home technology on a theatrical scale. The work questions how we see and care for the technologies we have created, which hold up the fragile ecosystems of modern society.

Rauma in Motion 2022 is a ‘Dance-U-Mentary’ film that reflects the locomotion, mobility, and flow of Rauma, Finland as the days transition from the green of late summer to the beautiful ‘ruska’ of fall. Involving and featuring hundreds of local residents, this dance documentary provides an embodied glimpse of Rauma’s community and culture through choreographed and natural movement. An Orange Grove Dance project, the film is a companion to its original counterpart of the same name, Rauma in Motion that was created at RaumArs A-i-R in 2012. Featuring music by acclaimed composer Dylan Glatthorn.

FIVE-PART DANCE FILM SERIES
The Other Canticles constitute a series of dance films inspired by five musical works of British composer Benjamin Britten. The pieces were written as canticles across his lifetime, with three of the pieces written as memorials. These dance films rouse the dynamic musical themes of each canticle and reflect the intense tone, power, and spiritual elevation of these works across disparate cinematic landscapes.

Facing unprecedented challenges to our environment and the impact we have on it, 'Reservoir' is the beginning of a new series of works using dance, film, and live music to remind us of the fragile but deep well of life our natural environments provide.
